Swisscontact established in 1959 in Switzerland, is a leading partner organisation for the implementation of international development projects. The organisation promotes inclusive economic, social, and ecological development to make an effective contribution towards sustainable and widespread prosperity in developing and emerging economies.

Swisscontact, registered as an International Non-Governmental Organisation in Nepal, has been operating since 1991 and is currently implementing six development programmes across all seven provinces of Nepal.

The Nepal Vocational Qualifications Project (NVQS-P) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland. It is implemented by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)/National Skill Testing Board (NSTB) at the federal level and by the Ministries of Social Development and/or education-related ministries at the provinces. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation SDC. Swisscontact provides Technical Assistance to the project on behalf of the SDC.

NVQS invites applications from qualified candidates (Nepali citizens) for the following positions.

Province Manager, Bagmati Province (01- Bagmati Province, Hetauda)

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Master’s degree in Education/TVET/Workforce Education/Management/Business Studies/Development Studies or in any relevant field.
Minimum of five years of professional experience in development cooperation and/or the TVET sector, including at least two years in a managerial role.
Experience in roles and interrelationships among development organizations, federal, provincial, and local governments in the program development and implementation process.

Driver (02- Madhesh Province, Janakpur and Sudurpashchim Province, Dhangadhi)

Required Education and Experience:

At least Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or School Leaving Certificate (SLC).
Minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar position, preferably with donors and/or INGOs.
