Job Description:

*This position is open to local applicants based anywhere in Asia Pacific region where World Vision International is legally registered to operate.

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead the delivery of digital transformation projects and drive implementation of the World Vision International Global Technology and Digitial (GTD) Digital Strategy to collaboratively deliver exceptional customer experiences and streamline operational efficiency. This includes, but not limited to, all Partnership/ Global Technology and Digitial (GTD) Technology Platforms, Digital Capabilities and Data Services (for the South Asia Pacific – SAP).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Scope, plan and manage delivery of digital transformation initiatives in World Vision South Asia Pacific (WV SAP), applying Global Technology and Digitial (GTD) Guiding Principles (P.R.A.I.S.E)
  • Actively collaborate to embed new ways of working, developing strategies to accelerate digital transformation and innovation, foster creative thinking and drive operational efficiency.
  • Support the business in developing core digital skills (customer-centred design thinking, collaborative co-design and agile delivery) by advocating best practice management and ensuring knowledge sharing and organisational continuous improvement.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, to capitalise on digital and other innovation opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice and thought leadership on innovative approaches to problem solving and provide strategic advice to the business on best practice and opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops to co-design solutions, with a focus on both customer and business outcomes.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops for a Digital Dexterity maturity throughout South Asia Pacific (SAP).
  • Recognise the potential organisational and personal motivations and barriers to digital transformation and innovation, and drive change to overcome barriers both within World Vision International and externally with World Vision International partners.
  • Lead and manage the World Vision International Global Technology and Digitial (GTD) (transformation and change) projects: Horizon, OIOS (GAM/iMPAQ), LMMS, CommCare, Viamo, EngageSpark.
  • Develop a business case for each project and presenting it to senior leadership for approval.
  • Monitor the progress of each project throughout its life cycle to ensure that deadlines are met, and objectives are achieved.
  • Develop a detailed plan for implementing the new system or process based on the needs identified in the business case.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to design and develop new systems or processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on new procedures or programs to ensure that they can use them effectively.
  • Determine how to allocate resources within the organization to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Work with external vendors to design and develop new products and services when is required.
  • Analyze data to determine where improvements can be made to increase efficiency or effectiveness of processes.
  • Establish communication plans to notify clients, partners, and other stakeholders about changes in processes or procedures

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

Required Professional Experience

  • Typically has 7 to 10 years of relevant IT and business work experience.
  • Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of the organizational structures of contemporary businesses and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, inspire, foster a collaborative work atmosphere, and comprehend and evaluate business procedures.
  • Adaptable, but able to understand the business environment and recognize shift signals.
  • Strong in achieving the goals.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
