Communication Officer
Required No.: 1
Major Roles and Responsibility:
The primary function of the Communication Officer is to support the Knowledge Management and Communication (KM&C) Manager in overseeing the internal and external communication efforts that align with the vision, mission, and branding of Heifer International. This includes creating communication and visibility materials, coordinating study tours and volunteer activities, and assisting with other administrative tasks as per the need.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in Mass communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Social Science is required.
- Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements Excellent in both verbal and written communication in English and Nepali Languages.
- Experience in developing content for website and social media posts.
- Able to use graphic designing and video editing software will be an added advantage.
- Creative and innovative in developing content.
- Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good leadership qualities and communication skills.
- Experience in event management and planning.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media tools.
