About the role
We are looking for a competent Senior Officer to provide technical for the project management team. The role of the position holder will be to provide technical support to implement project activities of Sustainable Market Development of eCooking in Nepal (SMDeN) by demonstrating the potential to overlook planned activities implementation in project areas: Koshi and Gandaki Province. The appointee plays a crucial role in coordination and collaboration with partners and relevant stakeholders and is accountable for executing planned activities to support the timely delivery of the project outputs and will be responsible to draft the documents, reports, and scripts necessary to execute project activities, ensure timely delivery of the outputs within the specified budget, in compliance with our internal and donor requirements.
About you
You have the willingness and enthusiasm to work in challenging situations. You have a proven experience in clean cooking projects implementation, preferably modern energy cooking solutions. You have a good understanding of project cycles with a focus on planning and budgeting, implementation, and monitoring.

Practical Action invites applications for the position of Senior Officer to work for Practical Action Office Nepal. The project position for Sustainable Market Development of eCooking in Nepal is for a year from July 2024 and require travel to project areas frequently.
Practical Action in association with Partners is implementing a project “Sustainable Market Development of eCooking in Nepal” funded by Energizing Development ((EnDev). The project aims to develop a sustainable market system of eCooking solutions with increased adoption rate by households and MSMEs so that the beneficiaries get rid of drudgeries because of indoor air pollution due to traditional and inefficient cooking practices. The project targets to disseminate at least 25,000 electric cooking appliances that include induction, infrared and electric pressure cooker with device friendly cooking utensils in Koshi and Gandaki Provinces by June 2025.
