Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to project team, implementing partners and processing center operating cooperatives for smooth implementation of project activities,
  2. Provide technical advice to the cooperative and farmers for adoption of climate smart agriculture technologies for increased production and productivity,
  3. Support project team to establish technology demonstration plots and extension of proven technologies,
  4. Collect and compile field level information for local value chain mapping and leverage points identification,
  5. Conduct field monitoring visits, collect qualitative and quantitative results, insights and lessons learned from the project,
  6. Support project team on collection and compilation of project related data at different levels,
  7. Support the project participating cooperatives for increased business transaction and market linkage,
  8. Work in close collaboration with regional team to support smooth implementation of project activities.
  9. Support the cooperatives to explore opportunities for establishment and strengthening of processing centers,
  10. Support in organizing training, workshop and other project related,
  11. Work with project team and communication department for case study and success stories related to the project intervention,
  12. Perform other job-related duties as required/assigned by supervisor.

Qualification and Skills:

At least Bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences from recognized university Strong learning attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic to work with small-scale farmers in rural areas. Willingness to travel and spend considerable time in field, Strong communication and presentation skills Proficient computer skills especially with MS Office package Sensitive in working with multiple cultures, believes and gender equity. Candidates with a valid two-wheeler license who are willing to use their two-wheeler for official field visits are encouraged to apply.
